A descendant outside the seven refuses the inherited oath. The fracture remains: two worlds, one seam, no clean side to choose.

Mozárabe · English version

Verse I

Half of my tongue was taught to pray
Half of my blood was born the other way
They call me traitor on both sides of the wall
I built my house where no one lives at all

Pre-Chorus

Not enough of either
Too much of neither
Cut me down the middle
See what still breathes here

Chorus

I am Mozárabe, I am the seam
Sewn from two worlds that bleed the same dream
Call me heretic, call me the key
I'm the border that refused to agree
No land will claim me whole
No god will own my soul

Verse II

My mother's psalms, my father's call to prayer
Both taught me silence, both taught me to care
I kept them like coals beneath my ribs
Two fires that never forgave each other's kids

Pre-Chorus

Not enough of either
Too much of neither
Cut me down the middle
See what still breathes here

Chorus

I am Mozárabe, I am the seam
Sewn from two worlds that bleed the same dream
Call me heretic, call me the key
I'm the border that refused to agree
No land will claim me whole
No god will own my soul

Breakdown

CUT ME DOWN THE MIDDLE.
I WILL NOT CHOOSE A SIDE.
BOTH HALVES ARE MINE TO KEEP.

Bridge

Maybe the seam is the only true thing
Maybe the in-between is a kind of king
Maybe I was never meant to be one whole
Just two flames sharing a single soul

Final Chorus

I am Mozárabe, I am the seam
Sewn from two worlds that bleed the same dream
Call me heretic, call me the key
I'm the border that refused to agree
No land will claim me whole
No god will own my soul
Al-Iksir — I am both, I am gold

Outro

Half of my tongue... half of my blood...

Outside the Seven

The seven fragments preserve disciplines of knowledge. Mozárabe preserves something they could not classify: identity.

Neither an eighth fragment nor one of the seven tinctures, the Unwritten Keeper exists between traditions, languages and worlds. Its testimony was never entered into the archive.
